Hello, I’m Carl Ekman, owner and founder of Emergency Preparedness NW.

Emergency Preparedness NW (EPREPNW) was born from my passion for emergency preparedness.  In fact I took the opportunity, after twenty-five years in the pharmaceutical industry, to turn my avocation into my vocation and offer my expertise, products, and services to others.

Emergency Preparedness NW started in May of 2009 as Vital Solutions of America, and has grown steadily since its inception.  Our online store has great information and products geared to keep you and your family safe in times of emergency. We add new products often, so check back or contact us if you don’t see what you are looking for.

We also have a showroom in Kitsap County where you can see and buy our emergency kits and supplies, as well as The Super Tanker, a unique water storage container described as “The best in-home water storage container.”
